Was late to the teacher’s meeting because my kids wanted to watch “This is Halloween” one more time, uninterrupted by me pointing out the lyrics. They didn’t move when the bell rang, so we stayed late to finish. They are usually shocked at the end when Jack rises out of the well. They have his image on keychains and on their socks, but none of them have actually seen The Nightmare Before Christmas. Which is also half of my impetus for showing them the Great Pumpkin. They know Snoopy, but have never seen Charlie Brown.
They like watching Linus struggle under a pumpkin in the beginning.
So I, being the last comer to the meeting, had to share a chair with the technology teacher and spent the whole time watching the hanja teacher take his notes in Chinese characters.
