Apparently, all this time I have been eating the fiddleheads of braken in my bibimbap.



  1. I like the way those words sound together. Bap=rice, bibim=…stuff? It’s a hot bowl with rice and egg and veggies and sometimes meat. And fern fiddleheads.

  2. Indeed. One just has to be careful not to underestimate the potency of the accompanying red pepper paste. You can get it at the place on Oakland Ave, I think it’s Oakland–same street as Szechuan Express..”Oishi” if I remember the name correctly. It had a yellow awning. Eunyoung took me there once.
